Journaling reads: "This trip to Galveston Beach was a turning point for you Ty. Previous to this trip you didn’t like to spend much time in the waves because they were pretty strong. We tried to get you to try bogie boarding in Mexico this past year, but you wanted nothing to do with it.


Well the Gulf of Mexico has waves just your size, and on this trip we had a hard time getting you out of them! You laid in the water with you floatie and let each warm wave wash you closer to shore. Once you reached it, you headed straight out again for another ride. I hope this is the start of a trend! --August 2006"
