Shelly Boyd My name is Shelly Boyd and I'm so thrilled to be a member of the KMA Design Team. I'm married to the love of my life, John and I am a stay-at-home mom with five children
(who are the focus of my scrapbook pages). My oldest is a sophomore in college and my youngest is three. We live on a farm in a very small town, Somerdale, Ohio. I started scrapping almost six years ago
after the birth of my fourth child. At that point, I didn't think I had time for scrapbooking. I was working full time, had four kids and was doing the bookkeeping for my husband's business. My photos
were in photo boxes under my bed and that was good enough for me. For about a year or more I had some dear friends who tried to get me to start scrapbooking but I refused and said I didn't think it was for me…boy was I WRONG!
Once I got started I haven't stopped. Now I know there is always at least a little time for scrapbooking. According to my mother, I have been crafting all my life and she is absolutely thrilled that
I've had my work published in Cantata Books, Scrapbook Trends, Paper Trends, Better Homes and Gardens Scrapbooks Etc. and KI Memories during the past two years. My mom is always on the lookout for items for my scrapbooks.
She is my biggest fan and she and my children love to look through the albums I m creating for them. My style is very linear mixed with a little bit of collage. I like to say that I've never met a scrapbook product I didn't like.
My favorite thing about scrapbooking is the friends I ve made and chatting with people who love this hobby as much as I do!
